ADVENTURE CIRCUITS AND ZIP LINES IN THE TREES

Discover your adventure in Tenerife

Forestal Park Tenerife is designed for you to enjoy a unique adventure in Canary Islands. The adventure circuits in the trees and the gigantic zip lines will amaze you. Fun is guaranteed for both children and adults, with different levels for different degrees of adventure.

*INFORMATION NOTE FOLLOWING THE ARAFO CANDELARIA FOREST FIRE (16th of August 2023): Dear adventurers, we are happy to announce that Forestal Park Tenerife reopens its doors so you can come and enjoy a unique adventure in the treetops. Circuits such as La Gomera, La Graciosa or Fuerteventura are temporarily inactive, but fun and adrenaline are guaranteed in the rest of the circuits with the best team you can imagine.

First of all, it should be noted that the Forestal Park Tenerife experience is designed for you to enjoy an activity full of adventure. At the end of the activity you will feel like a real superhero or superheroine.

The routes are organised into different levels of difficulty which are indicated by a colour system:

Easy Level

Circuits identified with the colour green. The easy routes are suitable for participants aged 5 years and over 1.10 metres tall. Children under 11 years of age must be accompanied by an adult. The routes gradually increase in height and difficulty. Generally, the challenges are simple but great fun. However, just because they are easy doesn’t mean that they are not exciting for adults.

Medium Level

Circuits identified with the colour blue. The medium difficulty routes are suitable for participants aged 5 years and over 1.10 metres tall (Alegranza and Lanzarote Circuits). Children under 11 years of age must be accompanied by an adult. The games present challenges that involve a certain amount of dexterity and skill.

Difficult Level

Circuits identified with the colour red. The difficult rout is suitable for participants who are at least 1.45 metres tall (Gran Canaria Circuit). Likewise, children under 13 years of age must be accompanied by an adult. We enter into circuit with more complex challenges. Among it there are high-difficulty games (identified with the colour black) such as Tarzan’s lianas where you will feel strong emotions. Technique and experience are necessary to conquer.

Extreme Level

Circuits identified with black. To access the extreme circuit you have to be at least 1.45m tall and if you are under 13 years old you have to ride with an adult. The Tenerife Circuit reaches up to 30m in height, has a great Tarzan jump and games that involve a great dose of bravery. On this tour you definitely conquer the heights and if it is clear you can see even the island of Gran Canaria. Lovers of adrenaline and strong emotions will experience great moments overcoming each challenge of this circuit.

How does the activity take place?

First, we will welcome you at our reception, where you will register all the participants. Then, in the equipment area, you will be properly fitted with the personal protective equipment (harness) with which you will be secured throughout the adventure. Thirdly, the Forestal Park Tenerife instructors will introduce themselves and give you a brief introduction to the activity.

Once the whole group is ready, you will head to one of our initiation circuits. At this point, you must be very attentive, as the instructor will give the safety talk where he will teach you how to use the safety system called ‘continuous life line’ with which you will always be connected at height.

Next, it will be your turn, you put into practice everything you have learnt on the test circuit. All participants have to pass this route to gain access to the adventure circuits. This is a simple circuit, where you can ask questions, evaluate how you feel and decide what kind of adventurer you are.

How do I choose which routes I want to go on?

On all the routes it is compulsory to comply with the regulations for accompanying children and with all the conditions of participation of Forestal Park Tenerife. Therefore, if you come with children, please read the Participation Regulations carefully, as children are not allowed to go up on their own.

If you are an adult, once you have passed the test circuit, you will find out what you are in the mood for. It depends on whether you are someone who prefers a quiet walk through the treetops. Or if, on the other hand, you are looking for thrills. In the first case, the instructors will recommend you to choose the easy and medium circuits. In the second case, they will recommend you to start with a medium circuit and increase the degree of difficulty until you reach the extreme circuit.

Likewise, at the beginning of each route you will see a sign with all the information you need to know about it. One of the most important points is the approximate duration of the circuit, so that you can calculate which routes you will get time to do in the three hours* included in the general admission ticket.

*The general ticket includes three hours (approximately half an hour of training and the remaining time to enjoy the circuits).
