Winter is approaching and with it, the last holidays of the year. Today we are talking about the December Bank Holiday 2024, the long weekend when the Christmas decorations are already shining in all their splendour and all the houses are putting the finishing touches to the details before the Christmas holidays.<\/p>\n

However, although the Christmas holidays are almost upon us, the long weekend in December is a great time to organise a getaway to the north of Tenerife and enjoy the fresh air on the green side of the island. In this regard, it is important to note that Forestal Park Tenerife will be open from Friday 6th December to Monday 9th December 2024, from 10 AM to 6 PM, with the last entrance at 3 PM.<\/b><\/p>\n<\/div>

Discover the interior of Tenerife on the December long weekend 2024<\/h2><\/h3><\/div>

First of all, we encourage you to discover the interior of the island, the villages that are not highlighted in large on the maps or the points that social networks indicate as the most visited. To do this you need:<\/p>\n

  1. A great desire for adventure.<\/b><\/li>\n
  2. A vehicle<\/b> (car, motorbike, caravan, etc.). You can also get lost by public transport<\/a> and in fact it is quite an experience, but there will be places that unfortunately you will not be able to get to as they are not connected (like us, for example, there is no bus line that passes through our location).<\/li>\n
  3. Good company<\/b> (your partner, that crazy friend who is always willing to accompany you to the end of the world, your family, etc.).<\/li>\n
  4. A backpack with clothes for both the beach and the mountains<\/b> (in this case, warm clothes<\/b> because it is already the season for lighting fireplaces and roasting chestnuts in the higher areas of the island).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    On the day you come to enjoy adventure and zip-lines at Forestal Park Tenerife, you can take a section of the great GR-131 route<\/a> and visit the village of La Esperanza and the forest of El Adelantado. In the municipality of El Rosario you will also find gems such as the small village of Machado in the midlands or Boca Cangrejo in the coastal area.<\/p>\n<\/div>
