What is a continuous belay system?

A continuous belay system is the safety system that keeps participants connected throughout the entire aerial adventure course, eliminating the need to disconnect when moving between obstacles, platforms or zip lines.

At Forestal Park Tenerife, we have always used certified safety systems. Now, we are taking another step forward by introducing the innovative technology developed by HOOKT, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of continuous belay systems.

What makes the HOOKT system different?

The HOOKT continuous belay system keeps participants connected throughout the entire course, including transitions, intersections, changes of direction and slopes exceeding 15%, without ever needing to disconnect.

Its components, manufactured using technology from the French aerospace industry, have been designed to provide maximum reliability and durability for adventure parks.

Today, this system is installed in more than 1,000 adventure parks across 49 countries, making it one of the most trusted and widely recognised continuous belay systems in the industry.
