Canaries’ Day, May 30, experience an unforgettable day
Next Wednesday May 30 we celebrate Canaries’ Day.
A day to commemorate the history, symbols and traits that give identity and characterize the Canarian culture.
Which is why, in Forestal Park Tenerife, we will open our doors to the public from 10 AM to 8 PM (last entry at 5 PM), so that you can enjoy the Canarian pine-tree (Pinus canariensis), a keystone symbol of the natural environment of the Canary Islands, in a different way.
On the one hand, you will get the opportunity to visit the Mount of La Esperanza. A magical environment, ideal for disconnecting from your day-to-day life.
On the other hand, you will experience a unique adventure in the treetops. Not any tree’s treetops, but those of an endemic species of the Canary Islands!
Canarian pine-trees are adapted to the volcanic soils of the Canaries, and constitute the central pillar of our activity. This is why we contribute to their preservation, and invite you to come to visit them and enjoy their beauty.
During your visit, we have an irresistible plan for you to enjoy Canaries’ Day:
Climb up to Canarian pine-trees
Whether you want to enjoy a day out with the family, or release some adrenaline alongside your colleagues and friends, climb up a Canarian pine-tree.
Take a walk through the treetops
On a Wednesday holiday, seize the opportunity to enjoy nature, relax and fill yourself with positive energy on the highest parts of a Canarian pine-tree.
Fly between Canarian pine-trees
Experience how it feels to fly, sliding down a zip-line from the top of a pine-tree and landing on the ground.
It would not be an authentic Canaries’ Day without tasting some of the local gastronomy. Thus, to conclude your day, we recommend you visit some of the exquisite local cuisine restaurants located in the municipality of El Rosario.
We guarantee a Canaries’ Day full of adventure and fun in contact with nature.
